Physician (Fellow - Per Diem)
HEME/ONC DAY HOSPITALIST - JOB SUMMARY:
Provides medical care in Hematology/Oncology (Cancer Care) inpatient unit so that there is coordination of care with patients and attending physicians, and collaboration with nursing, pediatric and other medical and surgical subspecialty services, community physicians and ancillary health team providers. Ensure the quality of all patient care and service, incorporating patient centered care and quality standards, and integration of these services with Seattle Children’s goals, vision and philosophy. Serves as the primary provider for the hematology/oncology population on day shift, working along side trainees (residents, fellows, etc.) with oversight from Hematology/Oncology faculty.
-MD Degree - Board eligibility or certification in Pediatrics by the American Academy of Pediatrics - Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges at Seattle Children’s, and assigned medical center(s) Preferred - Experience in pediat
