External Description

Following strategic direction and vision established by Facilities and IT Leadership, the IT Facilities Manager is accountable for successful realization of IT vision and project management performance across the organization. Responsible for driving maturity of project management practices and improvement of IT project delivery. Works as a primary conduit between IT and Facilities customers to understand business requirements, develop projects to effectively meet or exceed business needs, properly define and execute project according to established time, budget, and scope constraints, and measure results of project delivery. Supervises individual contributors with minimal oversight


Required Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related field, OR equivalent combination of education/experience that demonstrates competency
- Minimum of ten (10) years Project / Program leadership experience using proven methodologies
- Minimum of five (5) years Facilities Management experience, preferably in Healthcare Facilities
- Minimum of five (5) years in Information Technology (IT) field, including supervising teams and subordinates and managing medium to large projects, preferably in Healthcare IT
- Experience working with IT vendors, IT consultants and other IT purchased services, negotiating contract terms and other vendor management responsibilities, preferably in Healthcare IT
- Experience working with Lean methods and tools for Continuous Performance/Process Improvement (CPI)
