Enterprise Architect

Job Description:

The Enterprise Architect, focusing on Business and Application architecture, serves in a pivotal role designing and/or maintaining the current baseline and target application and services architecture, and assessing the impact of the future business architecture on existing and future applications. The Architect will capture strategies, future requirements and identify the techniques and technologies that should be applied at the application level. Help define the system and operational requirements that the computing infrastructure must support. Work with the other Architects, Infrastructure Engineers, and Technical Analysts to determine the most appropriate solutions to achieve the performance and scalability requirements. Responsible to leverage expertise and experience to develop application solution architectures that best align Children's strategies and business requirements with the functionality and constraints of off-the-shelf software and related technology solutions. Their extensive knowledge of business process, application and technical architectures is essential to the cost-effective implementation and support of complex service solutions.


Required Education/Experience:

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent IS experience
  • 7+ years technology architecture work experience
  • 7+ years experience in business analysis and/or software development
  • 3-5 years experience in Enterprise, Business and Application architecture
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture modeling methodologies and tools
  • Knowledge of business and process modeling methodologies and tools
  • Knowledge of cyber security and risk management methodologies and frameworks
  • Knowledge of project management practices, including project planning and risk/issue analysis/management
  • Familiarity with healthcare industry application & technology portfolio
  • Understanding of relevant technologies and development life cycles
  • Strong application architecture and roadmapping knowledge
