Behavioral Therapist Assistant

Job Description:

Provide behavioral and skill development programs in individual or small group settings under the supervision of the Lead Behavioral Therapist and Early Intervention Program Director. Collect data on programs and skills, provide oral and written updates on patient progress and assist in discharge planning activities. Work in collaboration with leadership on quality improvement, program development and other special projects as appropriate.

Requirements:

Required Education/Experience: - Bachelor's degree in social sciences, special education, psychology, communication disorders, or related field. - 60 hours of training and demonstrated compliance in delivering Applied Behavior Analysis services within 30 days of employment. - Minimum one year experience in working with children with autism. Required Credentials: - Registered Counselor/Agency Affiliated in Washington State within 1 month of employment Preferred: - WA State Certified Counselor credential. - One year experience working in educational or classroom setting. - Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) or working toward certification.
