Applications Systems Administrator, Senior
Investigate, analyze, design, develop and implement cost effective solutions to meet business needs and issues within the Cerner Clinical Systems environment. Maintain systems through various monitoring tools and regular updates to achieve or exceed assigned system service levels for measured availability and performance. Collaborate with the vendor, application administrators, analysts and technical resources in order to provide optimal system performance and availability. Administer, maintain and update assigned applications and services to provide optimal performance and availability. A proven, motivated collaborator with excellent business analyst skills that will represent IT in ongoing and future planning efforts within the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Organizational Development, Nursing, Computer Science, Math, Business or related field; or equivalent education and/or work experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years experience in Information Services environments with increasing levels of responsibility for system performance, availability and integrity.
Required Credentials: N/A
- In-depth understanding of Cerner Millenium architecture, and experience as a System Administrator.
