About the QA Team

We’re a fun group that enjoys being an advocate for the end-user. We love the challenges of testing and have helped successfully launch a number of features that you see on our site.

We are rigorous on quality, but we use creative ways to get there. If you have an idea on how to improve on our already high standards, we’d love to talk to you. We’re always looking for new strategies and better ways of doing things.

You Will

  • Be responsible for the quality and testing of Scribd’s web application.
  • Work with Product Managers and Developers in an Agile environment to come up with the most effective coverage.
  • Author test plans and prioritize test cases that will later be automated.
  • Improve our process of running regression tests. Be able to analyze, evaluate, and execute limited suites that improve quality and save overall regression time.
  • Work with the overall deployment team to create faster smoke-testing and verification procedures.
  • Develop end-to-end tests that model real-world usage.
