Maintenance leader - automation focus

What will you do?
- Take the lead with these impactful responsibilities:
- Monitor maintenance KPIs and ensure full implementation and follow-up of TPM strategy.
- Lead preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Drive automation initiatives to optimize processes, reduce downtime, and improve productivity.
- Develop and document standard work procedures, performance monitoring systems, and machine upgrade plans.
- Provide technical training and coaching to technicians, ensuring quick problem resolution and adherence to safety standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement solutions that reduce maintenance costs and improve operational performance.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement continuous improvement projects using Lean, Kaizen, and Agile methodologies.
- Prepare business cases for CAPEX approvals and manage related projects.
- Respond promptly to internal customers with a strong sense of urgency to minimize impact on operations.
What skills and capabilities will make you successful?
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Automation, or related field.
- 3-4 years of experience in automation and at least 2 years supervising teams in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of TPM, preventive and predictive maintenance, and automation systems.
- Proficiency in SAP, troubleshooting automation equipment, and methodologies like PDCA, DMAIC, 8D.
- Advanced English (written and spoken).
- Data-driven mindset; experience with Minitab, Pareto, RCA tools.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with ability to resolve issues on the shop floor.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, focused on reducing downtime and maintenance costs.
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions under pressure.

Who will you report to?
- You will report to the Maintenance Manager and collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams. This is a leadership role with direct responsibility for supervising technicians and driving automation and maintenance excellence across the plant.
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
