Position Summary
This position will help manage the sales claims process, policy/process, Pricing, Promotion Deal sheet and sales deduction processes from a finance perspective.
Responsible for working directly with Sales, Channel marketing, Product marketing, and financial management teams to coordinate on budget and Company policy

Role and Responsibilities
- All Sales- related claims except MX (mobile).
- Sales-related chargeback reconciliation (Rebate, PP, Bundle, SPIFF, MDF)
- MDF maintenance along with Sales Operations
- Checkbook maintenance for National Accounts
- Claims Processing and audits
- Review and approve claims for all sales-related programs assigned by cost center
- Work with Credit & Collections to ensure timely processing of all sales-related claims to prevent chargebacks on the A/R
- Maintain Chargeback and A/R goals set by Leadership
- Keep leadership advised of potential risk and A/R issues
- Work in conjunction with Strategic Finance to review and identify EOL model over claims
- Work with marketing and Sales Finance team to re-estimate conditions and accruals
- Process Innovation
- Work with Sales Finance to establish and monitor Deal Sheet programming to ensure it is extended all customers, products and programs
- Work in conjunction with Sales, Marketing and SCM teams to ensure our reporting from and to our customers meets both of our needs
- Customer Interaction
- When necessary, meet directly with sales and the customer in reference to claim submission, backup requirements and educate them on our processes and listen to their needs.
- Leadership and Coaching
- Develop/Train team to elevate their skills to enhance departmental proficiencies
- Provide guidance and direction on processes, issues and concerns
- Cross-train in order to enhance department resources
Skills and Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or a related field from a four-year college or university.
- Have at least 7 years of experience related to finance/banking, accounting, or strategic management consulting experience.
- Ability to analyze, synthesize and visualize data; Excellence in financials; Critical thinking and decision-making;
- Ability to work under tight deadlines; Ability to work with limited data;Clear/concise communication skills
- Have macroeconomics and accounting experience and proven analytical capabilities and skills.
- Must have Microsoft Office Suite of PC software applications experience with Excel spreadsheet preparation skills.
