Role and Responsibilities
Position Overview:
This position is Sr. Director Level, who reports to SEA CS Shared Services VP, to Design and Plan Long Term and Short Term Plans of the Parts supply and Operation function and to do project management of Global Parts Center America (SEA and SECA). Also this positon is expected to work with various departments within the Customer Service Division in North America subsidiaries, other regional subsidiaries and HQ including manufacturing entities to supply parts and run the operation, and identify the source of the inefficiency and develop process and data driven approaches to address those areas of potential improvement.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage GPCA internal cross-functional teams to drive parts material readiness that meets customer service requirements and supports customer service commitments
- Develop Parts supply Long Term and Short Term Planning and Strategy
- Leading and managing Parts Operation Process Innovation Tasks
- Managing data analysis and enhance business processes by utilizing analysis tool
- Identify root causes for business issues and resolutions
- Develop targets and KPI metrics for various key indicators
- Define and initiate any type of process improvement projects in the field of service parts demand, supply, inventory, planning and logistics operations interacting and working with any necessary members in/out of parts warehouse
- Conduct benchmark analysis to implement subsidiaries' best practices in the area of procurement
- Execute the North America subsidiaries' parts operation innovation tasks; align within NA subsidiaries and SEC Korea HQ
Skills and Qualifications
Background/Experience Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or other related Engineering fields required, MBA is a plus but not required
- Experience & Knowledge
- Minimum 14 years of professional experience in supply chain management, logistics, operations planning or similar functional areas
- Minimum 10 years of people management experience
- Experience with business process design/improvement, including gathering requirements, documenting workflows and developing specifications
- Knowledge of performance improvement principles, tools and techniques
- Systems familiarity (ERP: SAP, CRM)
- Service parts, and/or customer service related experience preferred
Necessary Skills and Attributes:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to facilitate collaboration with diverse groups
- Team oriented, but able to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Self-directed and results-oriented
Physical/Mental Demands:
Work is generally performed in an office environment. Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal between more than 50% of work time, including prolonged periods of time. Requires considerable work utilizing high visual acuity / detail, numeric / character distinction and moderate hand / finger dexterity. The movement and transportation of equipment, most of the time is under 25 pounds. Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenges and project management deadlines. Machines, tools, equipment, and work aids include PC's, printers, copiers, faxes and other equipment commonly associated with an office work area. May require working additional hours beyond normal schedule. Travel varies depending on position.
