Role and Responsibilities
Position Summary
The Cardiac Health Lead will report to the Head of Digital Health and is responsible for the development and execution of heart health initiatives. The position will play a significant role in shaping the strategy, product, and business direction of heart health solutions and features. This position focuses on supporting the Digital Health hardware and software strategy, executing the GTM plan, and achieving business goals.
Role and Responsibilities
- Bring leadership and expertise into heart health initiatives in areas ranging from strategy, product development, user engagement, behavior change, regulatory affairs, and clinical trial development for software, sensors, and algorithms.
- Identify and engage with industry-leading partners to progress business and product goals.
- Track, evaluate, and analyze market trends in digital health & wellness, medical technology, and the overall health industry
- Identify opportunities for Samsung to offer differentiated heart health solutions to meet health needs ranging from wellness/fitness to clinical use cases
- Develop and support health strategy
- Evaluate build, buy, partnership, and investment options

Skills and Qualifications
Qualifications/Skills
- Bachelor's Degree required
- MD with cardiology training strongly preferred (e.g. cardiology fellowship)
- MBA a plus
- 5+ years of experience in the digital health industry or consumer technology in strategy or product-related roles
- Track record of success in meeting business objectives
- Experience in health technology hardware and services including remote patient monitoring, technology-enabled chronic disease management, care at home, consumer wellness, and fitness
- Excellent written & oral communication skills with proven ability to provide clarity in complex situations and effectively communicate value propositions
- Experience producing highly effective presentations, developing content (e.g. written, video) and websites to communicate with internal and external customers and partners
- Ability to work independently, efficiently, and thoroughly to prioritize and complete tasks and meet deadlines
Physical/Mental Demands and Working Conditions
- Work is generally performed in an office environment.
- This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, and reach with hands and arms.
- Under very little direct supervision with a high level of responsibility to apply general policies and guidelines where decisions are seldom monitored and consequences of decisions adversely affect operating results and management decisions.
- Complete access to confidential company data where disclosure may jeopardize the company's competitive position.
- There will be significant travel to develop & manage business goals
The salary range for this role, for candidates based in NYC, is expected to be between $210,000 and $240,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
