Execute and validate QA field test plans.
Role and Responsibilities
Execute and validate QA field test plans. Review Network Operator test plans and requirements to ensure test procedures and methodologies are aligned with carriers' requirements. Document and track user equipment hardware and software defects using internal bug tracking system. Collaborate with other QA departments to support QA testing activities. Analyze logs collected from field testing and apply KPI's to test cases. Gather project documents, tools, requirements and guide other QA departments. Work with R&D and carriers for joint issue debugging and provide relevant logs for feedback. Evaluate and determine test scope and coverage based on software release notes and new features that are incorporated. Plan test schedule, devices and tools to ensure proper test scope is covered. Create, update, and modify QA test cases based on new network, CP modern features, and Carrier Requirements. Review and provide recommendations to improve User Equipment (UE) performance by evaluating and trending key KPI's, and performing trials and providing optimization guidelines.

Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in the mobile devices QA engineering. The 2 years of experience must have included 2 years of experience with: planning and performing QA mobile field interoperability testing; utilizing UE post processing tolls, such as QXDM, QCAT, Wireshark, XCAP, Shannon, and MTK; LTE and 5G air interface and call processing technologies, network architectures, and Radio Access Network; analyzing and debugging IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) related features including registration for VoLTE and VoNR; and analyzing mobility handover related logs for LTE, NSA and SA; and over-the-air (OTA) signaling (NAS) and As log post processing.
