We are seeking an industry-leading sales executive to lead Slack’s Mid-Market Sales organization in North America, reporting directly to our Head of Americas Sales. Our mission is to make people’s working lives simpler, more pleasant, and more productive – and this leader is responsible for driving growth and evangelizing Slack to new and existing mid-market customers.

What you will be doing
  • Set Slack's sales strategy and vision for growth across the North American mid-market segment of mid-sized and rapidly growing customer organizations
  • Build meaningful c-suite relationships with and deliver product solutions for Slack’s customers
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive vision for hitting net new sales targets and continue building a world class Sales organization, by helping recruit, develop, and retain a diverse team of the industry’s highest potential sales professionals
  • Partner closely with Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Professional Services, Marketing, Product Management, Security, Engineering, and other organizations to ensure that our community of customers get the most from our product and team


What you should have
  • A minimum of 15+ years of experience in the Sales space with an emphasis on Enterprise Software and at least 5+ years of leadership experience
  • Deep expertise leading sales organizations as a second line or above leader, working cross-functionally within an enterprise technology environment
  • Strong track record of delivery to global Mid-Market and Commercial organizations across a wide variety of industry sectors
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills with the ability to go deep into the forecasting and planning, getting elbow-to-elbow with your field reps to drive deals forward, and simultaneously distilling Slack’s value proposition into a compelling and inspiring vision that fits for each unique customer use case
  • Passion for all things Customer-related – and bonus points for all things Slack – with an authentic, humble approach that is inspiring and persuasive
