Job Duties: Define and create UX concepts based on an understanding of the business requirements and end-user needs through up-front, end-user research. Prepare and facilitate of a variety of Experience Design activities for client-facing workshops, audits, and customer/stakeholder interviews. Create a clear strategy from insight to action to effectively produce a variety of outputs such as personas, journey-maps, user flows, information architecture, prototypes, and wireframes as it pertains to business requirements and end-user needs and validate through user testing, when appropriate. Communicate research findings, conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale effectively both verbally and visually. Create prototypes that demonstrate experience concepts. Respond positively and calmly to shifting priorities, demands, and timeline. Represent Salesforce's vision and values by ensuring all Salesforce certifications and coursework is met, as it pertains to the Experience Design group requirements. Contribute and collaborate with the Experience Design group, as well as within customer-facing engagement. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce's offices is required.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or a related discipline, and four (4) years of experience in the field of graphic or industrial design or four (4) years of experience in the job offered.

Degree (Graphic Design, Industrial Design) or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) User testing; (2) user journey maps; (3) user personas; (4) Figma; (5) Airtable; (6) Zeplin; (7) Rhino; (8) InVision; (9) Sketch; (10) Adobe CC; (11) User Research; (12) Wireframes. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Education, experience and criminal background checks will be conducted. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce's offices is required.

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $147,339 to $183,900.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
