Specialist, Platform Support - East


The Platform Support Specialist is a detail-oriented individual with the ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks in a rapidly changing environment. They are responsible for the operational duties across the Rubicon Project Buyer and Seller platforms. The Specialist must be able to creatively troubleshoot as well as effectively communicate to the internal Accounts team along with the external clients. The ideal candidate is a team player who has a positive attitude and excellent customer service.


  • Provide exceptional customer service to the Rubicon Project client base
  • Develop an understanding and mastery of all internal Rubicon Project tools including RFD, SalesForce, Seller and Buyer products
  • Perform the Buyer operational duties: traffic new IO requests, update campaign serving details, test ad tag functionality, and proactively identify ad quality issues
  • Perform the Seller operational duties: new display, mobile, and video account/site setup requests, campaign trafficking and setup, ad quality and technical troubleshooting, identifying the need for case escalation
  • Ability to develop a working relationship and effectively communicate with the internal Account teams
  • Provide prompt external client communication for all inquiries
  • Manage the Buyer and Seller SalesForce caseloads remaining in agreed upon SLAs
  • Demonstrate the ability to stay organized and multi-task


  • BA/BS required
  • Experience in a customer-facing, service-oriented job a plus
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and possess the ability to multi-task
  • Must be a quick learner and interested in continued online advertising industry education
  • Must be comfortable speaking to external clients and have well-developed interpersonal skills
