Rubicon Global leverages both SharePoint and SalesForce to provide collaboration and information-sharing solutions to the Sales, Marketing, Customer Care, Vendor Management and other teams within the organization.
Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, the Solutions Engineer will play an integral part in building Rubicon Global’s competitive advantage through the development of workflow automation solutions on both of these platforms.
This job requires that you be a self-starter with the ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. You must possess good oral and written documentation skills and be able to interact with other team members to deliver fast and reliable code. You will also be asked to contribute ideas and provide feedback on many projects within the team's portfolio. We're a flat, lean, agile, self-governing team. We value transparency and trust. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Interface with key stakeholders from various departments to gather, analyze, and document requirements for solutions to various business challenges.
  • Develop APEX solutions for the Rubicon Global sales team and other departments leveraging the SalesForce cloud platform.
  • Develop flows, triggers, and other custom solutions for SalesForce platform
  • Work with Rubicon Global’s remote development teams to design, develop, and implement interfaces between Rubicon’s SalesForce, SharePoint, Microsoft Nav, Tableau, Azure, and other cloud-based platforms. 
  • Facilitate periodic bulk imports, exports, and mergers of data into SalesForce and SharePoint. 
  • Develop custom forms, workflows, and other custom solutions for Rubicon’s SharePoint platform.
  • Create and maintain documentation detailing the mechanics and administration of various solutions. 

Education & Required Experience:

  • BS in Computer Science, Math, related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in developing either SalesForce or SharePoint solutions.
  • Experience developing, testing, and debugging solutions using Visual Studio
  • 3 years or more of experience developing in .Net programming languages such as C#. 
  • Understanding of and ability to articulate SalesForce implementation best practices.
  • Experience in Service Oriented application development
  • Experience with software deployment best practices
  • Experience in continuous integration skills for real-time testing and diagnostics within a cloud environment
  • Experience in Web Services, REST, MSMQ, and generally message bus architectures
  • SQL Server and T-SQL querying language experience

Preferred Experience:

  • Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
  • Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms and software design with strong analytical and debugging skills.
