RingCentral is seeking a seasoned leader with an infrastructure and operations background. We are hiring a leader who can drive cross functional alignment and run a portfolio of projects simultaneously.  They would help design, build and maintain solutions throughout RingCentral’s global footprint.  We are a rapidly growing and maturing team seeking a technical leader with broad business perspective and the ability to drill into the details to resolve difficult challenges.   This leader will be responsible for some of the most critical internal projects in the company and the role requires a seasoned IT professional with strong business acumen.

We want to provide the greatest end user experience possible while balancing security and self service automation.  This person should be creative and passionate about massively distributed, high performance, secure and automated systems.  We need someone to envision, document, educate, and evangelize the architecture/solutions.  The IT Project Manager will lead cross functional teams and unselfishly deliver solutions with peers. This is a full time position at RingCentral’s new Belmont Campus reporting to the VP of IT Infrastructure & Operations.



  • Partner with stakeholders to capture requirements
  • Identify the scope, schedule and resources required to deliver projects
  • Establish efficient project standards and templates
  • Work closely with other teams to remove blockers and solve problems
  • Communicate, present, and evangelize best practices
  • Prospect technologies which advance project management effectiveness
  • Create business cases for strategic projects and present to executives
  • Demonstrate measurable results
  • Ensure regulatory compliance
  • Publish and maintain a prioritized program portfolio
  • Prepare executive status reports and give presentations to executives as needed
  • Develop and manage project budgets – stay on budget/manage expectations
  • Capture issues and regularly document corrective actions/decisions taken
  • Execute a disciplined scope change control process
  • Contribute to a virtual Project Management Office (PMO)
  • Adopt PMO best practices
  • Strictly apply weekly status reporting discipline

Minimum Experience:
    • Bachelors degree in IT, MIS, CIS, EE, or Computer Science
    • 6+ years of experience in IT or engineering
    • 4+ years portfolio/program/project management experience

  • Master’s in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or Business Administration
