The Senior Functional Analyst HCM will be responsible for is a technology specialist who provides guidance and hands-on support to the HR users in the enterprise. Act as the primary liaison to HR from Information Technology. Facilitates and supports key processes for Human Capital Management. The Senior Functional Analyst will partner with business analysts and stakeholders in finance & HR to configure and support Oracle Fusion across business units for all Enterprise System projects. The ideal candidate for this role will have extensive functional knowledge, extensive expertise with system configuration, solution design, build, test and implementation of Oracle Fusion.

This position will serve Rheem Enterprise located in Atlanta, GA.


  • Duties include working on projects and providing guidance to end users, consultants, and vendors.
  • Current HR and payroll systems include Kronos and other time keeping systems maintained at division location.
  • Long-term business and IT strategy will include evaluating, upgrading, or replacing these systems.
  • Rheem Manufacturing is an international business and plans to upgrade technology to allow users to view HR, benefits, and payroll information enterprise-wide.
  • Experience with Oracle's HCM Cloud is desired.
  • Experience should be across multiple modules such as; Core HR, Payroll, Compensation, Recruiting etc.
  • Extensive experience in gathering business requirements; performing functional fit/gap analysis; presenting best practices; creating current & future process flow diagrams; performing risk analysis; recommending solutions, alternatives & workarounds;, creating functional specs for tech team; configuring, creating testing strategies, test scenarios, & test scripts; leading all phases of the implementation/upgrade life-cycle.
  • Excellent communication. Needs to be an effective liaison between the client executive team, business analysts, and technical team. Works well with clients and other consultants.
  • Troubleshooting production issues and thinking critically in pressure situations.
  • HRIS experience providing support for HR and employee queries.
  • Assist in assessment of upgrades and testing during system upgrades and patches.
  • Collaborate with 3rd party vendor and HR to drive system enhancements as required
  • Assist in assessment of upgrades and testing during system upgrades and patches
  • Must have ability to work hands-on with the systems in the configuration, testing and training.
  • Ability to lead and facilitate meetings to bring disparate skill sets and viewpoints together to solve problems.
  • Solicit input from all appropriate parties to ensure solutions are consistent with enterprise direction.
  • Helps identify process improvements through changes in practice, standardization or IT automation.
  • Track issue and resolution for all HR systems.
  • Monitor the service ticketing system for HR issues and requests.
  • Prepare complex reports for employee data contained in the HRIS in response to requests from users within Human Resources and from users in other departments.
  • Experience in HCM Extracts, BIP and fast formulas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


  • Required BS/BA in Human Resources, Business, Computer Science, or related field of study.
  • At least 10 years relevant experience.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required.
  • Hands-on experience with implementation, configuration, and support of packaged software for HR, payroll, and benefits administration required.
  • Functional and configuration hands-on experience.
  • Knowledge of SQL is required.
  • Knowledge of enterprise HRIS such as Oracle required.
  • Prior experience developing reports required.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead small initiatives and provide oversight to consultants.
  • Experience with full life cycle for software implementation or upgrades.
  • Demonstrated ability to "dig in" and solve problems with minimal background information.
  • Business analyst experience such as gathering requirements, designing business processes, documenting processes, unit testing, facilitating design meetings with users, etc.
  • Good communications skills (written/verbal), with emphasis on demonstrated ability to convey complex technical principles to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to lead and facilitate meetings to bring disparate skill sets and viewpoints together to solve problems.
  • Experience with a structured development methodology.
  • Proficient skills using the MS Office suite including Project and process modeling tools such as Visio.
  • Proficient skills for using SharePoint as a collaboration tool.
  • Successful candidates must be able to work in a collaborative and teamwork driven environment.
  • Ability to travel domestically and globally. Estimated amount of travel is 40%.

  • Preferred consulting experience with a variety of mid to large size companies.
  • Preferred experience in manufacturing or high-tech industries.
  • Knowledge of Recruiting, Payroll, Core HR and Benefits Administration required.
