Manager Assortment Planning

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop assortment plan by clusters;
  • Conduct article ranking for depth guidance;
  • Conduct historical analysis in terms of buying structure and provide proposals for pre-season buying structures at cluster level
  • Based on existing analysis model to provide detail analysis on the article level to identify key drivers for top selling articles, as well as slow moving articles
  • Develop store cluster proposal and distribution plan
  • Understand the GCA consumer retail environment including distribution points , share of buy, competitor ranges and pricing strategies
  • Work with BU to understand category seasonal strategy/priority/insight;
  • Align full category assortments with respective category BU and handover category assortment plan to sales;
  • Deliver category assortment plan presentations at Sales Training, KA Pre-lines, Trade Meeting;
  • Provide input to and attend Commercial meeting, Integration meeting and Sell Thru meeting
  • SI & ST tracking & analysis

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • University degree in Business or equivalent professional experience, ideally in Sales and/or Marketing
  • Minimum 5-8 years' experience in merchandising / buying function
  • Good understanding of retail business
  • Strong PC skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Passion for sports
