Performs duties associated with monitoring, troubleshooting and repairing a wide variety of instrument and electrical systems on complex manufacturing equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:
Performs a variety of instrument calibrations (pressure, temperature, flow, speed) using various calibration tools
Troubleshoot and repair in a fast paced environment on a wide variety of instrumentation from pneumatic and analog to the latest in smart generation technology
Specialized knowledge in troubleshooting and monitoring PLC's, HMI's, DSC (Delta-V), and plant historian (PI)
Makes decisions on equipment diagnosis and repairs to prevent potential product issues (micro/foreign contamination)
Performs assigned preventative maintenance and calibrations in assigned areas
Utilize and CCMS and calibration documentation systems including all necessary work permits
Complete all necessary transactions, reports, and documentation
Maintain a clean and sanitary environment
Be able to use independent judgement and work well as part of a team
Establishes strong working relationships with key customers, colleagues, and leadership
Demonstrates accountability with a focus on customer service

Journeyman electrical licenses required with 5+ years of working with electrical/electronic equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge in packaging, liquid and powder processing a plus.
An understanding of maintenance best practices, safety, quality, cost, HACCP, GMP, and regulatory compliance is a plus.
Strong analytical and people skills are necessary in this position.

Frequently required to talk and/or listen to maintain communications. Use of hand held radio when necessary.
Reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch.
Frequently lift and/or move 10-35 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Noise >/= to 85 dBA in some areas - hearing protection required
Hot product or chemicals traveling through enclosed lines near work areas depending on duty being performed
Dust - proper PPE provided
90% of work is indoors with 10% outdoors
