Experienced Dock & Door Technician

Raymond Handling Concepts is looking for an experienced Dock and Door Technician to join our winning team! This position is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all types of dock leveler equipment at RHCC's customer locations.
- Repair all types of dock leveler equipment that RHCC sells and services.
- Maintain a profitable billing level and complete jobs within quoted time limits when applicable.
- Follow all service department procedures.
- Communicate with assigned Field Service Supervisor.
- Have the necessary tools to perform repairs and scheduled service work.
- Maintain an accurate assigned parts inventory, if applicable.
- Represent the company favorably in all situations.
- Establish a positive rapport with customers.
- Availability to work overtime and occasional on call shifts
- Perform other specified duties and projects as assigned by the Service management.
Experience and Skills
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required. This position requires dock and door mechanical experience and training. This position requires a basic knowledge of Hydraulics and/or Pneumatic systems, a strong sense of urgency, ability to work independently, excellent written and oral communication skills and a clean driving record. Must have a working knowledge of and familiarity with personal computers, MS Windows or similar system, familiarity with internet and email functions. Must be able to use a keyboard to enter data accurately.

It does not involve performing the activities while the whole body is in motion. The ability to quickly and repeatedly adjust the controls of a machine or a vehicle to exact positions. The ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted. The ability to communicate clearly with or without aid. The ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position. The ability to lift 25 - 50 lbs. continuously. The ability to maneuver up to 125 lbs. with assistance of equipment or other team members.
Candidates must have own tools, can build on as you go and as needed. Must have CLEAN DMV for this position. Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.
