Rental Coordinator

Raymond Handling Concepts Corporation is looking for a Rental Administrator to join its winning team. This position is responsible for coordinating and processing internal and external rental requests and general rental inquiries, which includes performing all steps required to have the proper rental equipment delivered, picked-up, properly serviced, and invoiced.
Essential Functions:
- Providing and receiving rental documentation
- Ensuring customer's rental request is followed up with via e-mail or phone in a timely manner
- Invoicing customers for rental and freight charges
- Going into warehouse to select forklifts, batteries and/or chargers
- Work with internal departments to find and deliver rental equipment that best fit customer's needs
- Arranging freight with customers, drivers, and service personnel
- Opening work orders for equipment to be prepped
- Find and communicate best available rental options to customer
- Checking in with local centers for updates on rental preps
- Processing vendor invoices and opening purchase orders
- Checking returned rental equipment for damages
- Invoicing customers for rentals and freight
- Going in warehouse to select forklifts, batteries and/or chargers
- Work with internal departments to find and deliver rental equipment that best fit customer's needs
- Understand our different rental lift types and their key specifications
Experience and Skills
Qualified candidates must have prior administrative support experience with computer and customer service skills in an office environment.
Due to heavy phone and e-mail communication, qualified candidates must have prior phone and computer skills, be able to clearly communicate by phone and e-mail, both internally and externally with customers, and enjoy working with others.
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required. Prior experience in an administrative position needed. Must be familiar with Microsoft software.

This position requires repetitive use of fingers, wrists, and hands for typing, word processing, and writing. Must be able to bend, twist, sit and reach using legs, back, neck and arms. Must be able to verbally speak and hear with or without aid to utilize heavy phones with customers, vendors, and co-workers. This position requires employees to work in the warehouse around units. Closed toed shoes are required when in the warehouse.
