Strategic Account Manager

What you’ll do

  • Create processes: Determine the land and expand process within our current structures; set criteria for success of a pilot with the sales and customer success teams
  • Partner with the sales & customer success teams to further grow accounts by selling in new products, increasing volume, and / or expanding within the organization
  • Own a quota: Identify expansion opportunities within prospects and current customers to help customers drive success throughout their organization
  • Develop a strategic account process based in best practices.
  • Gather business and technical needs of customers and drive solutions forward
  • Become an expert on all areas of the product with a keen ability to ask the right questions of customers to discover where opportunities can be uncovered
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to be an internal voice of key customer in product development

What we’re looking for

  • 3+ years proven experience owning strategic relationships at tech companies; experience with technical buyers, a plus
  • Someone who regular exceeds sales goals while delivering value to customers
  • Startup mindset: ability to adapt to rapidly evolving products and processes 
  • Relationship builder: a true people-person who enjoys building rapport with senior engineering leaders
  • Problem solver: a strategic thinker who is self motivated, great at self-managing, and connects the dots
