People Coordinator

As the People Coordinator at Rainforest QA you’ll use your excellent relationship building and organizing skills as you work side-by-side with our HR Manager and Recruiter to support the overall planning, coordination, and administration of various Human Resources and Recruiting policies, programs, and functions. As a member of the People Team you’ll understand our mission and model our company values as we offer support to team members company-wide. This position reports to the VP of People.

What you’ll do

  • Assist with health, 401k, commuter, and other benefit administration
  • Maintain human resource information system records and compile reports, as requested, from the database
  • Assist with the employee on-boarding process which includes: drafting offer letters and non-compete agreements, drafting other new hire/onboarding related materials, tracking onboarding completion and scheduling new hire orientations. Also assist in the offboarding process to ensure thoroughness
  • Participate in the preparation of the performance review process
  • Assist the Recruiting Team with job postings, interview and meeting scheduling, social media content creation, and resume screening
  • Support the interview process and the maintenance of our ATS system
  • Help ensure a positive experience for candidates
  • Identify and solve for communication gaps within the team
  • Special projects and project support within the People Team

What we’re looking for

  • One+ years of experience in an HR or Recruiting Coordinator role in a fast-growth tech environment (or equivalent)
  • Proficiency in Google Apps
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong logistical skills, exemplary time management/organizational skills, and the ability to work independently
  • Sound judgment and use of discretion in dealing with confidential conversations and information
  • Experience working with an HRIS, applicant tracking system, and social media tools
  • Ability to be fluid and adaptable to our changing priorities and needs
  • Enthusiasm for maintaining and enhancing a great company culture
