Director of Product Marketing
As the Director of Product Marketing at Rainforest QA you’ll be in a high-impact leadership role that will be key in disrupting an industry and changing the way that software is developed. The experience and skills you bring to the table will have a big impact on the story of our success. You’ll be the driver in helping our audience understand that Rainforest is a different, and better way, to do QA.

What you’ll do

  • Work collaboratively with leaders across the organization to prioritize roadmap plans through a deep understanding of the QA space, customer feedback, and competitive analysis
  • Help create and launch go-to-market plan for feature and product launches
  • Develop messaging and positioning based on analysis of data gathered through surveys, interviews, product usage, market knowledge, competition
  • Define pricing models for long-term strategic growth
  • Support analyst and PR relationships, speak at conferences, publish regular articles, and blog posts
  • Create content that supports Sales in educating prospects and closing deals. This includes one-pagers, white papers, competitive analysis, ROI calculator, product positioning, and sales enablement
  • Leverage your technical background to have substantive conversations with senior technical buyers that effectively convey the solution our product provides

What we’re looking for

  • Strong background in selling and positioning to technical buyers, preferably in infrastructure/QA space
  • 6+ years of product marketing  experience with at least 3-5yrs in B2B SaaS
  • Quick learner, organized, and self-motivated with ability to define goals and prioritize work based on impact to the business
  • Customer Focus: proven experience driving effective marketing based on a deep understanding of customer needs
  • Experience working with analysts and PR agencies as a key spokesperson for the company
  • Ability to communicate effectively, in writing and verbally,  with a wide variety of audiences
  • Ability to think strategically and drive change in the organization
