National Sales Manager - Landscape

Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and achieving the desired sales and profitability results in China Mainland, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and Mongolia, leading and developing a strong Landscape sales team. The candidate will help build and maintain relationships with all key market influencers in Landscape.

 

Responsibilities

  • Setting, implementing and executing a strategic business plan; achieving sales and market share goals
  • The development and implementation of an agreed upon strategic territory plan to manage and develop the distribution channel in line with current needs.
  • Personnel management – recruit and train up a professional sales team, including area sales manager and contractor specialist in the future
  • Ensure a viable succession plan
  • Expansion and management of landscape distributors and contractors
  • Identifying, prioritizing and pursuing business opportunities throughout the territory
  • Collaborate with SBU marketing team on new product introduction, market research and gather the market intelligence

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA or BS degree, minimum of 10 years of sales and marketing experience
  • Proven strong leadership skills
  • Strong selling, communication and problem solving skills
  • Creative thinking and concrete execution to meet the commitment
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Ability to quickly develop rapport and business relationships with market influencers
  • Fluency in English (excellent verbal and written communication skills)
  • Computer skills including MS office
  • Willingness and ability to travel over 50% of time nationwide

 DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • MBA degree
  • Irrigation experience or AutoCAD knowledge is a plus
  • Distribution channel management experience
  • P&L experience
  • Experience working in a multi-cultural environment
  • The ideal candidate will be a hands-on style individual leading by example, will embrace aggressive goal with positive attitude for business challenges, and be hard-working.
