Area Manager - Turkey

Responsibilities

  1. Drive and develop Rain Bird distribution network in the area.
  2. Aggressively drive product and service sales in the region leading an existing small sales team
  3. Work closely with contractors, municipalities or public entities, private companies and specifiers on using/buying Rain Bird landscape products and services
  4. Participation in demo days, road shows, customer fly-ins and trainings, trade shows and regional sales meetings
  5. Successfully establish and execute an regional sales plan
  6. Strive to differentiate Rain Bird from its competitors by providing superior customer service, high visibility and aggressive call coverage cycle
  7. Develop good relations with existing distribution channel and extend distribution in given territory
  8. Collaborate with the marketing team, to ensure that the products road maps, promotional and marketing programs and products announcements meets customer needs and expectations
  9. Prepare regular and special sales and market share reports

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post Graduate level degree (MBA,BA, BS)
  • 5+ years work experience in sales or sales management or equivalent
  • Strong team leadership qualifications
  • Strong capabilities in sales management
  • Thrust worthy and organized
  • Ability to work in an International organization
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing and leadership skills
  • Ability to achieve results individually or through others
  • Strong in written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer skills including working knowledge of Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • Self-motivated, team player, aggressive, and strong communication skills
  • Fluent in both Turkish and English (written & verbal),
  • Ability to travel at least 70% of time in territory
