Global Impact is seeking a dynamic CPA for its Vice President of Finance & Accounting position. Ideal experience is in the management of workplace giving and CFC campaigns, and the management and innovation of fiscal agency, fiscal sponsorship and similar evolving business models. Some international experience a plus. Roll-up-the-sleeves attitude and experience managing a team through change processes required.

Reporting to the CEO, the VP exemplifies financial leadership and serves as a true business and thought partner, providing strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization. The VP guides the evolution of the finance and accounting infrastructure that supports the mission and growth. In addition, the VP will provide leadership for near- and long-term financial planning; oversee finance and accounting systems; and ensure compliance, integration of best practices, and risk mitigation. The VP directly supervises a Director of Accounting and a Director of Revenue Management, with 5 staff in turn reporting to them.
Highly qualified candidates will share our respect and commitment to Global Impact’s mission and will bring 10+ years of progressive senior financial management experience (some nonprofit preferred but not required), including Director-level supervisory experience; experience with diverse business models including fiscal services, advisory services, campaign management, related contracts and technology platforms, and fee for service; excellent interpersonal & communication skills and demonstrated ability to interact professionally with culturally diverse staff, clients, consultants; experience analyzing financial data and directing the preparation of financial reports, statements, and projections for internal and external audiences; a demonstrated ability to work as an effective executive team member and provide proactive leadership in a complex and fast-paced environment; a CPA or Chartered Global Management Accountant certification highly preferred.
