Senior HR Generalist- HR Consulting

Job Summary:

We are seeking a high energy, self motivated, hands-on Senior HR generalist with varied experience to join our HR Consulting team in serving a diverse client base. In this role, you will be a primary HR point of contact for multiple employers. You will input payroll using vendor software and manage the overall payroll process, enroll and terminate employees in benefit plans, reconcile and verify benefit invoices for accuracy and serve as administrator for the plans; administer retirement plans to include processing retirement plan remittances and completing annual data collection for compliance testing and 5500 preparation; develop job descriptions and recruitment ads; screen resumes; conduct interviews; conduct new hire orientations; write and review employee handbooks and advise employers and employees on a range of workplace matters and employee relations issues. Additional functions may include project based work in the HR functional areas of compensation, performance management and appropriate worker classifications under the FLSA.

Must work well autonomously in a matrixed environment; BA/BS plus 6 years related HR generalist experience. Candidates should be proficient using ordinary business software programs and comfortable using and learning a wide variety of software programs. HR certification required. Experience as a sole HR practitioner and/or prior consulting experience highly desirable.
