Manager, Managed Accounting Services: Deliver accounting services to clients wishing to outsource their accounting function; serve as a liaison between the Engagement partner, the client, and accounting staff; function as a point of contact with client or secondary point of contact after the Partner/Director, for delivering accounting services; organize planning meeting for delivery of accounting fieldwork; prepare and review client billing history, engagement letter, and planning for Partner/Director approval; identify and resolve accounting issues with the Engagement Partner and Client’s approval; follow progress of accounting work, monitor client billing and help to ensure timely completion; answer any questions the client may have to ensure a complete understanding of the nature and terms of fees and to ensure that the engagement letter is signed; follow up with clients regarding accounts receivable; and, mentor 2-5 less experienced accounting professionals by reviewing their work, providing guidance when necessary, and when they are not performing well, bringing it to the attention of their Superiors to determine the next steps.

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, or equivalent plus, minimum of five years of progressive accounting and/or audit experience. In addition, the qualified candidate will possess specialized knowledge of: generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP); generally accepted auditing standards (GAAS); Statements on Standards for Accounting and Review Services (SSARS); and, understanding of tax rules and regulations relevant to the preparation of the Federal Forms 990. 990-T, 5500, 1120, 1040, and various state forms. CPA Certification or equivalent is required.
