  • Build and run a world class cybersecurity incident response program that is prepared and effective at responding to any type of security incident
  • Deliver innovative solutions to continually automate and improve our capabilities at scale, across numerous products and platforms
  • Empower and leverage the open Quintiles IT engineering culture
  • Have passion for cybersecurity and be able to positively spread this enthusiasm to partner teams
  • Build a data driven operational program that continually improves efficiency and ensures all response and investigative capabilities will operate optimally whenever there is an incident


  • 8 years of relevant work experience, including hands-on technical management and coding skills, and proven ability to contribute at both strategic and operational levels
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit and manage technical teams, including performance management
  • Must be able to effectively develop and communicate information security strategies and architectures
  • Must be able to translate highly technical concepts into language that is meaningful to many audiences, including software engineers, business and technical leaders
  • Must have working experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls
  • Must have direct experience working with a Managed Security Services Provider
  • Must have operational experience working with McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator
  • Current GCIU, CISSP or CISM certification
  • BA/BS in Computer Science

Minimum Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field; with 7 years of information security experience including system administration, security analysis or SOC analyst with team lead or supervisory experience or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
