Associate Clinical Data Coordinator

PURPOSE

Serve in support-level capacity on a Clinical Data Management team to provide efficient, quality data management products that meet customer needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct basic data review.

Write data clarifications as directed by the Data Operations Coordinator.

Resolve data clarifications, as directed by the Data Operations Coordinator.

Conduct basic quality control procedures.

Meet personal project objectives, as assigned by manager.

Escalate problems to the attention of the Data Operations Coordinator or Group Manager.

Understand and comply with core operating procedures and working instructions.

Understand, provide input to and comply with all applicable sections of Data Management Plan.

Understand basic database structures.

Develop and maintain good communications and working relationships with CDM team.

All responsibilities are essential job functions unless noted as nonessential (N).

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Excellent organizational, communication and computer skills required

Ability to exercise excellent attention to detail

Ability to act independently and with initiative required to resolving problems

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School, or educational equivalence, with 3 years of experience including clinical trials experience in a function similar to DM; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience

PHYSICIAL REQUIREMENTS

Extensive use of telephone and face-to-face communication requiring accurate perception of speech

Extensive use of keyboard requiring repetitive motion of fingers

Regular sitting for extended periods of time
