Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with responsive web design
  • Experience building progressive web apps
  • Experience with CSS architectural principles (e.g., BEM, OOCS, SMACSS)
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS and TypeScript + JavaScript
  • Proficient knowledge of CSS preprocessors such as SASS and PostCSS
  • Familiarity with front end testing, including E2E
  • Comfort with Git (branching, merging, rebasing, etc.)
  • Ability to work with build tools such as Webpack
  • Web security knowledge, including working with CORS
  • 3 years of web application experience
  • Well versed in modern TypeScript/JavaScript frameworks and concept
  • Experience with Angular and TypeScript
  • Responsive web design implementing experience
  • Understanding of and experience with progressive enhancement

Job Summary
The Senior Front End Developer comes to us with more than just basic skills with HTML, CSS, UX/interaction design or DOM-focused TypeScript/JavaScript. This team member is comfortable experimenting with the latest in trends and best practices, striving for expertise. The Senior Front End Developer builds the UI portion of a project in a modular, reusable and maintainable way, while documenting the process and code.

  • Write HTML, CSS and TypeScript/JavaScript in existing and new products
  • Develop new features within the framework and standards of the team
  • Work closely with product designers to create user-focused interactions from static designs and wireframes
  • Deliver recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Provide options for interactive design and content organization
  • Build prototypes
  • Build A/B and multivariate tests
  • Maintain ownership of the projects assigned
  • Mentor other software developers to grow their technical skills
