What You'll Do/Need

The Full Stack Developer works within the Marketing team to develop websites and other digital tools that address a wide range of business needs with Bedrock. The Full Stack Developer’s main responsibilities include building new features for existing or new web websites using tools such as JavaScript (ES6, jQuery, jQuery UI, AngularJS), CSS3 and HTML5.  

Essential Functions

  • Develop and implement new features delivered from our Marketing and Creative groups
  • Build modular and reusable code that’s easy to understand and utilize
  • Evaluate and provide feedback on UI/UX in terms of technical feasibility
  • Write fast, efficient and scalable code that meets acceptance criteria
  • Test code for quality before submitting to Software Engineers and QA
  • Collaborate with Developers and business partners
  • Evaluate new technologies
  • Help to determine new standards and best practices

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science (CS)
  • At least 2-3 years of full stack development experience 
  • Experience with template engines and Bootstrap and Foundation
  • Strong experience in building apps with JavaScript frameworks
  • Well-versed in JavaScript development
  • Solid understanding of UI/UX
  • Experience with CSS/CSS3 and HTML/HTML5
  • Self-driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to adapt to change and to stay cool under pressure
  • Ability to make complex topics easily understood
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in order to meet deadlines
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility and mitigation
  • Experience with version and source control (GIT)
  • Experience building headless CMS architecture
  • Use of CSS pre-processors (SASS/LESS)
  • Experience building Visualforce pages
  • Development experience with AngularJS, ReactJS or Node.js
  • Experience with cloud application platforms like Heroku and AWS
