Bedrock Finance Team

The Finance Team implements Bedrock’s strategic investment vision and is comprised of two primary components: (1) Capital Management; and (2) Asset Management. Capital Management focuses on evaluating potential projects, creating financing strategies, raising capital to fund projects, and managing the deployment of this capital. Capital Management roles and responsibilities include market analysis, economic impact analysis, business development, investment evaluation and underwriting, identification of financing needs and capital relationship of management. Asset Management roles and responsibilities include financial analysis, retail analytics, budget consultation, investor relations, and portfolio analysis.

 

Job Summary

We're seeking an energetic, assertive and people-oriented individual to join our Finance team. This individual will report to the Vice President of Finance and will offer full administrative support to the Finance team to coordinate project progress, align team resources, and manage schedules.

 

Essential Functions

  • Provide full administrative support to the Vice President of Finance and Finance team including calendar management, workflow planning and project coordination.
  • Support multiple calendars, prioritize meetings, organize scheduling and mitigate any scheduling conflicts
  • Assist with the setup, organization and follow up of team meetings
  • Ensure project timelines are met and help to manage project expectations
  • Coordinate with team resources throughout the company to advance project deliverables
  • Evaluate third-party consultant and advisory services proposals to inform investment, financing and asset management activities
  • Implement new team processes and/or improve current processes to ensure the team is operating as efficiently as possible
  • Support investment, financing, and asset management transaction execution and RFP responses
  • Utilize a creative mindset to provide ideas and deploy best practices to support for finance functions and projects
  • Make photocopies, faxes documents, filing, and performs other administrative functions
  • Support administrative functions of Finance Team as needed

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in an Administrative role or support role
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or related field
  • High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Takes ownership of problems and provides solutions
  • Ability to organize and prioritize a busy workload, work well under pressure and switch gears quickly
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, ethical behavior and use discretion
  • Must be able to support deliverables, with strong follow-through capabilities
  • Ability to juggle projects, multi-task, and track multiple schedules and assignments
  • Interest in learning financial and real estate related terms and concepts
  • Willingness and flexibility to work extra hours to meet business needs
