What You'll Do/Need
This Intern supports the Event Management Squad with planning and execution of special events, meetings, incentive travel, parties, awards shows, charity functions, and more. Ties threads in the QL Family and supports Detroit initiatives. The goal is a world-class event, every time.
- Coordinate deliverables for each event
- Solicit quotes for food/beverage selections, arrangements for audio visual service, transportation, travel, entertainment, decor, etc.
- Assist in planning and execution of events
- Assist with registration process for events
- Assist in management of volunteer workforce for events
- Produce various email communications, PowerPoint presentations and printed materials for events
- Assist with reconciliations and make periodic reports on the cost of activities
