Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis

Quantcast is hiring a Manager to join the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team in our San Francisco office.

Using machine learning to drive human learning, Quantcast provides brand marketers and publishers with meaningful audience insights, predictive targeting and measurement solutions across the customer journey.

As a Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis, you will help ensure that we are using our capital wisely to support business objectives and are on track to achieve our long-term financial goals. Among your responsibilities, you will lead our financial planning process and discussions on financial and operating results, craft our financial narrative for the investor community, influence business strategy through analysis, and manage critical cross-functional projects.

This role reports to the Head of Finance at Quantcast and requires building partnerships with executives across the organization, so great leadership and communication skills are critical.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively across functional teams to develop and advance sophisticated, quantitative analysis, translating internal and external data into actionable insights
  • Provide analytics and reporting for quarterly board presentations, business reviews, forecasting and planning activities
  • Identify actionable insights, suggest recommendations and influence the direction of the business by effectively communicating findings to cross-functional groups.
  • Participate in developing strategy, processes, and operating procedures for Quantcast’s expanding sales channels and internal operations functions
  • Be point-person within Finance specializing on developing internal view on global revenue forecast and manage the annual financial planning process

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or Finance from a top-tier institution; 7+ years experience in various FP&A related functions
  • Demonstrated excellence in financial systems experience (Essbase) and extensive knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proven ability to lead cross functional teams, manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high quality results; Willing to Travel (up to 20%)
  • Experience in mentoring junior team members and working with senior leaders
  • Highly organized, ability to self-start and self-direct work in an unstructured environment; Strong written, oral communication and interpersonal skills

  • Investment banking or consulting experience
  • Experience working with Tableau or SQL
