Cinema Sales Manager, APAC

Overview

The function of the Cinema Sales Manager, APAC is to build and manage a cinema dealer network in Asia Pacific and to foster and maintain strong customer relationships through honest, ethical, responsive and caring communication and service.

This position will establish, adapt and manage distribution channels to ensure maximum market share and long-term profitability for QSC and our channel partners while operating at a high level of effectiveness, efficiency and quality. End user outreach to cinema circuits throughout the region will be required to promote QSC to key customers.

Responsibilities

  • Is authorized and empowered to act on behalf of QSC in the execution of job scope and responsibilities.
  • Responsible for cinema sales and all sales-related activities
  • Manages cinema dealers and internal sales force including agreements, contracts, policies and procedures for cinema products
  • Develops and maintains customer relationships with dealers and cinema circuits
  • Pursues new customer and market opportunities
  • Attends key tradeshows and events related to Cinema
  • May be required to be a presenter for QSC at industry seminars
  • Establishes customer related policies and processes for APAC cinema accounts in conjunction with the Global Sales Director
  • Works with Order Desk, Logistics, Credit to ensure that all processes and procedures are followed
  • Establishes pricing and programs with the Director of Global Cinema Sales
  • Provides sales oriented technical application support
  • Negotiates sales contracts and agreements
  • Operates in accordance with any budgets and sales objectives or quotes as directed
  • Advises on proper departmental technologies, processes and policies
  • Provides input for sales forecasts to Director of Global Cinema Sales
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including budgeting and reporting activities


Qualifications

  • B.A. Degree in Business and/or 5 years of sales management experience
  • Existing relationships with key Cinema Dealers and Theatre Chains in the region
  • Good computer skills including “Oracle and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Email)”
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills
  • Solid time management skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Must have budget, employment, pricing and negotiation experience
  • Technical capability to specify and quote typical cinema sound systems
  • Must be located in APAC
