Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success in provisioning, configuring and designing cloud architectures and working knowledge of containers, kubernetes and openshift to support enterprise level applications. This may include partnering or working closely with key vendors and service providers as well as technology team members to plan and manage a tool set that supports business needs and is in compliance with corporate and industry standards, including the following:

  • Ability to design cloud architecture on Azure, AWS and other private clouds with focus on enterprise applications and OpenShift based applications ;
  • Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions and Supporting Configuration Management tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc;
  • Ability to define and implement security policies for the various resources - Authentication, Authorization, Controls around compliance and lifecycle management;
  • Ability to support designing and implementing container based enterprise applications using Openshift, kubernetes, Docker, etc;
  • Assisting with design cloud networking for the various components of enterprise applications like network segregation, site to site vpn, multi-tenant latency optimization, etc;
  • Integrating and configuration operational monitoring tools like Datadog, dynatrace, calico, etc;
  • Understanding of SDLC/Agile Methodologies and DevOps;
  • Understanding of various architecture patterns like N-Tier, Hub and spoke, etc;
  • Understanding of Security footprint, Risk profiles, Disaster recovery architecture and design principles;
  • Ability to implement and support various deployment methodologies like Blue-Green, Canary, etc; and
  • Working independently or in team oriented environments to meet deadlines.

Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success in supporting Cloud Architecture and Openshift engagements, which includes the following:

  • Assisting with assessments and appraising the maturity of existing organizations against full life cycles of a defined Cloud architecture standards;
  • Helping to implement recommendations that lead clients to a higher level of maturity and improve efficiencies;
  • Assisting in engagements which may include Design, Provisioning, Configuration, User Acceptance, application integration testing, Environment management, Monitoring and support, supporting responses for proposal documents and project teams for client engagements;
  • Helping to implement demonstrations and creation of Proof-Of-Concepts environments;
  • Providing technical and consulting support from Cloud architecture and Openshift-related activities and functions;
  • Ability to define and articulate the KPIs from operational metrics using Grafana, Splunk or dashboard tools and Performance tuning of infrastructure components; and
  • Collaborate with Software Architects on how to best design their cloud applications for optimal scaling including content caching, compute optimizations, continuous integration, and delivery pipeline, and load balancer setup.
