VP Product Development Technologies and Integration

The Vice-President Product Development Technologies & Integration will be responsible for the development and integration of supply chain solutions that support the intersection of design, product development and commercialization activities across all PVH brands and channels. At the highest level, the Vice-President will ensure the technology and tools implemented support the leading practices and processes of an optimized global supply chain, across the retail and wholesale divisions of PVH Corp.

The successful selection, implementation and use of PLM and all ancillary solutions supporting product development functions within a complex, multi-brand, multi-category, multi-channel environment will be a primary focus for the Vice President. This position will also be responsible for ensuring any new business processes or new acquisitions are aligned with and can be supported by the pre-production technology footprint. The span of responsibility will be global, supporting not only North America but pre-production teams and their application usage world-wide. The Vice-President will coordinate with cross functional teams (consisting of IT, business and consulting resources) in the design, development and implementation of change management activities related to the configuration, development, testing and rollout of global supply chain solutions and will work to set direction and determine priorities for the ongoing IT support of business processes and any and all supporting technology and tools.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

  • Identify, select and implement the correct foundational technologies to empower pre-production teams to create, edit and review new innovative products or improve existing ones
  • Plans and formulates aspects of the department budget; creates proposals that translate challenges and benefits into concrete, quantitative return on investment analysis
  • Process orientation; demonstrated ability to develop repeatable IT processes or improve existing IT processes in support of pre-production functions
  • Project management skills; will have demonstrated the ability to drive global initiatives over the finish line via sound planning and persistent execution; will understand how to align resources, seek the input of key constituents, and manage others to achieve desired results
  • Identifies and negotiates contracts with consulting firms for industry analysis and other vendor partners for applicable IT services and/or support
  • Gain trust of senior leaders and participate in steering committee meetings, effectively communicating challenges and accomplishments.
  • Direct and prioritize all project and support activities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience:

  • 10-15 years of IT support of product development and/or commercialization business functions in a multi-brand, multi-channel environment
  • 10+ years of PLM systems experience; implementation experience is a must
  • Experience defining, implementing and coaching business teams and mentoring internal IT teams to embrace leading practice processes
  • Experience identifying, selecting and implementing core and ancillary software systems in conjunction with an approved change management process
  • 10+ years working with senior leadership in a large, multi-brand company

Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field required

  • Strong presentation and meeting leader skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong track record of delivery – on time and on budget
  • In-depth knowledge of PLM systems applicable to fashion/consumer goods based brands and/or retailers
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management
  • Logical and thoughtful in approach and influential in presenting solution options

  • Strong negotiation, organizational and facilitation skills

  • Good written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills with internal and external business partners

  • Must be flexible and able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Must be detail oriented and highly organized
