SVP Business Process and Project Portfolio Management

Lead all activities within the Business Process Organization. Provide strategic planning and oversight in discovery, validation, and documentation of processes, system analysis, scenario modeling and implementation of changes and oversee project and portfolio management.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Set the mission, strategy, and roadmap of the Business Process Development organization in order to foster a business-oriented culture, prioritize resources and drive continual service improvement.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, build and maintain relationships with business executives to develop a clear understanding of business needs, opportunity for process improvement.
  • Liaison between business process and IT
  • As a member of the senior leadership team, provides input on the service portfolio and governance required to prioritize resources.
  • Develop and monitor operating and capital expenditure budgets in order to ensure consistency with overall process.
  • Leverage influencing and negotiation skills across the enterprise to enable cost-effective and innovative solutions. Stay abreast of industry trends in order to be competitive in the market.
  • Collaborate with HR and IT leadership team to design an efficient workforce with multi-faceted competencies including both business knowledge and technical skills. Mentor the Business Process Development leadership team.
  • Serve on IT planning and policymaking committees; drive the development of enterprise technology standards, governance processes, and performance metrics to ensure the Business Process Improvement unit delivers value to the enterprise.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 – 15 years managing business process improvement across a global organization.
  • 8 years of experience influencing key decision makers or senior executives in a large, cross-functional team setting.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, organization design & development and the ability to lead transformational initiatives in complex and dynamic environments.
  • Proven understanding of Project Management and Portfolio Management

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business field is required.
  • Graduate degree in business (MBA) is preferred.

  • Effectively lead teams and plan projects / tasks.
  • Excellent analytical, conceptual thinking, strategic planning, and execution skills to drive organizational change.
  • Drive organizational change and build capabilities that support the evolution of the organization.
  • Ability to articulate complex ideas, comprehend written and verbal communications and possess excellent presentation skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the capability to creatively influence ideas as well as leverage resources logically.
