Sr. Manager, Global Marketing - CALVIN KLEIN

POSITION SUMMARY:

The candidate will manage the global marketing efforts within the Calvin Klein 205W39NYC (ready to wear) line of business. In doing so, the candidate will need to manage complex, integrated marketing programs, from inception of the strategies, through execution, and reporting, with an emphasis on co-op and wholesale campaign management. He/she will develop relationships with licensing partners, regional teams (particularly in US and Europe), and internal stakeholders (including design, merchandising, sales, creative, experiential, publicity, store display, e-commerce, production, and additional teams) to execute key initiatives with excellence.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

  • Lead co-op marketing strategy and execution and support with overall marketing, advertising and promotional projects within 205W39NYC
  • Partner with the integrated marketing and communications team members (digital, publicity, social media, events, fashion office, creative, production, and others) to support and/or lead initiatives
  • Develop project briefs and coordinate execution of all initiatives, including advertising campaigns, packaging, communications, and visual efforts
  • Direct packaging and trim development, including establishing the calendar, new packaging concepts, regional needs, and new branding concepts
  • Provide Regional Divisions updates on the development of marketing strategies and provide them with the marketing elements that work best for the brand in their region
  • Support expansion of retail stores and wholesale shops, in partnership with store planning, product merchandising, and visual merchandising teams, which also includes co-op and trade marketing responsibilities
  • Pursue cross branding initiatives where and when appropriate
  • Work closely with project management to plan and ensure timely development and delivery of projects

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience:

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience at creative agencies or brands, with preference for 2+ years of brand marketing experience at a lifestyle, home, fashion, or apparel company
  • Integrated marketing mindset, with a passion for developing consumer experiences and programs
  • Strong leadership skills, with an ability to manage complexity and to drive integrated marketing programs across a variety of regions and stakeholders
  • Excellent written and oral communications, attention to detail, and a positive, solution-oriented attitude
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines, adjust to changes in priorities, and balance short-term needs with long-term strategic initiatives

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Media, Marketing, or Business preferred

Skills:

  • Enthusiasm for fashion products and brands, with a working knowledge of marketing best practices and campaigns from non-fashion categories
  • Extraordinary attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills required; positive, energetic, empathetic and open minded
  • Flexibility to adjust quickly to changes and deliver on tight deadlines in a demanding environment.
  • Must be proactive and solution-oriented
  • Strong data/analytics skills
