Sr Inventory Management Assistant

Responsible for inventory management and the development of a monthly DC receipt plan supporting both business needs and PVH Supply initiatives such as Core Replenishment. Primary role is to plan and procure inventory across multiple workflows, manage related planning systems (JDA Fulfillment), manage stock exceptions, as well as maintaining appropriate DSIs (Days Supply Inventory).

Position uses the mainframe systems, JDA, Excel, XPC/PDM and Business Objects. Complete understanding of these resources is imperative.


  • Using JDA Fulfillment, create mid-long term DC receipt plans and inventory targets for different product workflows.
  • Using JDA Fulfillment, review and approve short-term buy plans for different product workflows.
    • Core Replenishment- Manage short-term buy plan projections and provide 12 month rolling forecasts.
  • Manage/Resolve stock exceptions for different product work flows.
    • Stock-Outs & Stock-Lows- Provide solutions and expedite product when necessary. Report out on all associated risks, costs, and impacts.
    • Stock-Highs- Provide visibility and offer solutions to help mitigate excess DSI.
  • Collaborate with planners to proactively manage impacts to the plan (e.g. demand changes, supply variability, etc.).
    • Demand Planners
      • Partner on appropriate target coverage durations based on ABC Segmentation, Forecast Code and Account Base.
      • Partner on stock exception resolution plans.
    • Supply Planners
      • Mid-Long Term DC Receipt Plans- Collaborate to support factory optimization.
      • Short-Term Buy Plans- Collaborate to prioritize orders and ensure timely receipt of goods.
      • Track purchase orders from inception to delivery, including adjustments to ship modes, quantities, sizing, dates, etc.
  • Manage JDA planning parameters based on strategic targets (DSI, safety stock, maximum coverage, etc.).
  • Resolve master and transactional data errors to ensure full demand signal and data integrity in JDA.
  • Manage style creation and maintenance in ACS.
  • Support continuous improvement in the inventory planning and collaboration end to end process.
  • Communicate regularly with Demand Planning, Supply Chain Planning & Production, PVH Supply, HUBs, Sales & Marketing, Account Support & Allocations
  • Communicate with Retail & Merchandise Planning, PDA/Design, Cost Accounting/Finance, Strategic Services/EDI, Logistics, DCs



  • 3+ years in Supply Roles, including: Inventory & Supply Planning, Operations,
Demand Planning, Buying/Procurement, Logistics
  • Experience with a leading planning solution preferred
(JDA, SAP, Oracle, Manugistics, Logility, etc.)
  • Experience in a fast-moving, multi-channel consumer goods business with global manufacturing/sourcing

Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • Strong analytical, creative problem solving, and data driven decision making skills.
  • Ability to proactively lead collaborative efforts with demand planners on inventory policies and impact of forecast changes.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to utilize global contacts to problem solve using all resources available.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Intermediate to Advanced preferred)
  • Ability to multi-task while remaining flexible and adaptable to changes in the market place.
