Sourcing Associate - PVH Corp.

Primary Purpose: The Sourcing Associate will assist and assure efficiency and consistency in execution of all in-season pre-production and production activities as well as ensure on time delivery of quality product.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with PVH offshore offices and factories direct on daily tasks
  • Engage PVH offshore offices and/or Supply Chain Partners for solutions as it relates to business needs
  • Monitor calendar and engage with cross functional teams to ensure all key dates are met.
  • Assist in allocation of proto and sample requests to Supply Chain Partners.
  • Turn Proto Request and track delivery with hub offices/factory direct in system
  • Maintain Development charts in XPC system
  • Maintain/enter fabric details in PVH internal Item Development system for all product development sheets
  • Daily email correspondence with PVH offshore offices and all other areas of internal groups
  • Manage fabric approval/standard files
  • Understand seasonal strategies to align day to day responsibilities.
  • Factory set up: liaise with Human Rights division. Maintain Sam site to ensure up to date vendor information is entered into PVH systems.
  • Cost engineering/able to identify price distortions, engage off-shore offices for solutions
  • Set up weekly conference calls with PVH off-shore teams
  • Maintain agenda of weekly conference calls
  • Receive and send parcels for the department

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 0-2 years of related experience in sourcing, product development and/or production.

Education:

  • Associates and/or Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • A textile/PD or manufacturing-related background is preferred.

Skills:

  • Computer skills – Full MS Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of or experience with PDM is helpful.
  • Top-notch follow up skills are essential.
  • Proactive personality is needed.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills
