Shipping & Receiving Coordinator - CALVIN KLEIN

The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator is a dedicated resource responsible for coordinating all shipping & receiving operations are executed for the CALVINKLEIN205W39NYC BRAND. This role will manage all sample trafficking and routing, resolve customs delays, ensuring recordkeeping is maintained.


  • Ensures that all domestic, international, interdepartmental and courier shipments are accurately processed and distributed on a timely basis.
  • Oversee temp and support staff assigned to ensure the product is processed and handled appropriately and in a timely fashion.
  • Track incoming UPS/Fed Ex Packages and resolve customs delays.
  • Ship samples to Milan - pack items and generate commercial invoices.
  • After hours Fed Ex/UPS - pack shipment/prepare documents/deliver to outside location.
  • Receive hand carry deliveries (late nights & weekends) for both Design & Knitwear.
  • Organize and keep track of hanger inventory for both Design and Atelier - advise when stock will need to be replenished.
  • Unpack and Check in samples from CMI and factories using Fashion GPS
  • Move and Provide Racks during Show Times and Pre Collection Production Fittings.
  • Follow up on details and completeness and level of service provided.
  • Notify the Mail Center Manager of any changes or need.
  • Take initiative and pitch in for any request, when needed.
  • Ensures all necessary files are properly maintained. Keep files of all commercial invoices for samples received and shipped each season.
  • Maintain working knowledge of all USPS mailing regulations and requirements.
  • Keeps good communication with mail staff.
  • Assist with packing to send Vintage to Warehouse.


  • Minimum 2 years previous mail room, shipping and receiving experience preferred.

High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Strong computer skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Must be able/willing to work extended hours when necessary, including weekends & holidays.
  • Full knowledge of Mailroom operation.
  • Knowledge of postal equipment, procedures and regulations.
  • Full knowledge of and experience of FedEx Powership.
  • Ability to follow a floor plan.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Team player, good organizational skills, positive work ethic.
  • Reliable.
