Senior Manager, Fashion Show Production—Tommy Hilfiger

The Senior Manager, Fashion Show Production will manage the global project management of the Tommy Hilfiger New York Fashion Week events including the integration of all key project leads across the multi-touch point event. In addition, this member will execute NYFW production and focus on strategy building for future NYFW events.


General Project Management:

  • Global budget: invoice tracking and reconciliation
  • Timeline and production schedule: encompassing all areas of the project
  • Meeting lead: planning, calendar requests, agendas and recaps

Production Lead:

  • Creative concepting
  • Oversee Master Timeline for Creative Development Milestones
  • Rendering development and required permit approvals for events
  • Budget alignment & approval
  • Production execution
  • Oversee Production Agency
  • Key decision management
  • Strategic partnerships
  • Ensure negotiation timeline aligns to production needs
  • Televised Event Partnerships
  • Oversee concepting agency
  • Support in pitch presentation to broadcast partners

Coordination with Existing Fashion Show Teams:

  • Collection coordination
  • Alignment with production
  • Present key decisions internally
  • Budget approval
  • PR Consultation / seating
  • Alignment with production
  • Prepare Copywriter briefings for messaging strategy
  • Creative Collateral Development
  • Prepare Agency briefings
  • Monitor all asset development to track timelines
  • Photo/Video Asset Strategy
  • Hiring Agencies / Partners
  • Managing briefings and organization
  • Onsite direction
  • Digital & Social Media
  • Production Alignment
  • Budget Coordination
  • Influencers & VIPs

Support in Integrating Other Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Ensure all project leads are integrated into the fashion show process and included in key status meetings and event materials
  • Areas include:
  • Divisional coordination
  • Music performance: talent search, negotiations and rider conditions
  • Consumer traffic: generate event attendance (CRM & owned channels, wholesale partners)
  • Media Plans
  • Shopping Innovation / Experience: alignment, partnerships, digital content, fulfillment, customer service

Internal & External Contacts:

Internal: TH Marketing team (US and AMS), E-Commerce, Retail and Visual Merchandising

External: Event Production Vendors

Budgetary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the annual multi-million dollar fashion show event budget
  • Daily: invoice approval and submission for payment
  • Monthly: reconciliation of all charges against budget
  • Annual: FY planning for fashion show projects based on evolving strategy

Decision Making:

  • Final Project Approver: Chief Brand Officer
  • Create a structure and timeline that allows for the efficient proposal of various alternatives in a clear way that makes final decisions simple


  • College degree
  • 7+ years of event experience
  • Production Agency background
  • Experience in large-scale public event formats
  • Experience in television or broadcasting is beneficial
  • Fashion industry & runway show experience
  • Understanding of global event production
  • Understanding of communications and design is a benefit
  • Ability to work in fluid environment with changing priorities. Ability to meet deadlines with frequent changes to projects
  • Have to be able to problem solve and present reasonable options or alternatives to any issues that arise
  • Must be self sufficient in managing own time and deliverables
  • Process-driven with a high level of organization
  • Ability to handle a large volume of work and multi-tasking
