The Senior Manager of Advanced Analytics will contribute in a significant way to the development of a smart, successful practice that will add meaningful value to the PVH portfolio of brands. This role will help define, shape and build the company's analytical capabilities, approach and work product, build and manage a team of analysts, and partner across brands and business channels. As well, this role will both influence and improve the way in which our businesses communicate through the establishment of a new, shared language. Success in this role will depend upon a rigorous analytical approach, intellectual curiosity, a creative approach to addressing complex challenges, and the ability to balance clear, strategic thinking with pragmatic, sleeves-rolled-up engagement and action

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & POINTS OF ACCOUNTABILITY
  • Manage an analytics team (local and India-based) with an eye to efficient, productive workload management
  • Help define standards & practices ranging from checks & balances to ensure accuracy and consistently, shared file systems, recurring reporting, and more
  • Establish and teach an approach to data analytics including the definition of KPIs that will then be utilized or leveraged by internal and external (i.e. agencies, consultants) resources
  • Develop and drive data & analytics in such a way as to influence decision-making across various functional areas
  • Analysis of large data sets in order to distill key insights to influence strategic decisions across brands, product categories, sales channels, and marketing messages
  • Effective communication of analytical findings such that key facts, insights and implications are clear and understood by those without analytics expertise; use of data visualization and other demonstration or description of information are important
  • Interpretation of data in a way that allows the facts and trends to form the basis for actionable recommendations
  • Responsible for both recurring analyses & reports to provide ongoing tracking or progress, and ad-hoc analyses to identify and size new opportunities
  • Active contribution to team discourse and decision-making with regard to developing standardized best practices to customer KPIs
  • Collaboration with immediate team members in order to determine the most accurate and compelling approaches in order to begin building organizational best practices
  • Collaboration with a wide variety of internal colleagues and stakeholders


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & DESIRED ATTRIBUTES
  • Bachelor's Degree required, Masters in a quantitative field ideal
  • Five-seven years prior work experience in a combination of hands-on data analytics as well as analytics design and management
  • Facile in working with and organizing high volume, diverse data sets that include transactions, clickstream, survey, and other types of information
  • Proven ability to execute on common customer analytics needs including segmentation/classification, lifetime value, regression, associations rules analysis, text analytics (preferred), linear programming, and customer migration
  • Comfortable in a rapid response mode where information or answers are sourced from a database in a timely and thoughtful manner
  • Strong SQL skills including the ability to translate business questions into cogent, logical database queries and ensure quality output
  • Expertise and ability to teach R, Python, or a related statistical program language
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to discuss complex information in an easy-to-understand manner with clear recommendations based on data
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
  • Motivated, resourceful self-starter
  • Positive, solution-oriented
