Senior Director, Retail Operations, PVH Asia Pacific

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

Projects & Insight

  • Support strategic projects, including Top Door strategy development, implementation of omni-channel initiatives into the retail stores , and playing a key role in Store of the Future evolution with the brand leads.
  • Adapt the retail organization's processes and procedures to support the brands omni-channel customer journey and the new role of the store to create profitable operations and drive superior customer shopping experience.
  • Drive pilots for retail operations relevant projects received through innovation pipelines.
  • Own the annual Regional Retail Summit
Customer Experience

  • Drive the retail organization towards customer centricity and elevate the in-store customer experience.
  • Partner with the brands to map the customer experience journey and the customer experience strategy, including innovative digital elements.
  • Collaborate with innovation and IT to come up the digital ecosystem and platform to support the digital strategy. Test, improve, evolve, scale.
  • Elevate the instore customer service experience by partnering with L&D on continuous improvements of the Retail service model to improve consumer experience and drive sales.
  • Partner with merchandising and marketing teams to ensure seasonal launch are supported with comprehensive, in-store packs, including product details and staff training etc.
  • Establish a Retail training curriculum to lead the retail teams to high performance and develop talent within our retail organization.

Retail Excellence

  • Drive and support a culture of retail excellence across markets.
  • Drive commercial performance and develop retail competencies across own and operating countries in the APAC region.
  • Drive implementation of standards (service & operational) guidelines (retail handbook, SOP, grooming & appearance) to ensure daily operations are compliant with Brands policies and procedures, while allowing for local requirements.
  • Proactively drive technology applications for retail stores and development of efficiency and effective process across retail, including systems (footfall counters, POS/mPOS, inventories, etc.) upgrades to achieve operational excellence and business outcomes.
  • Stay current on retail trends and advancements, through attending conferences and networking, to keep PVH "in the know" at all times.
  • Own the operations and P&L of the PVH in-office company store.

Business Intelligence

  • Lead data-driven culture across commercial functions in the APAC region
  • Develop dashboards and other BI reports with insights for senior management reviews
  • Establish appropriate KPI metrics and analyze, track and benchmarked (internally & externally) our retail performance.
  • Develop first-rate tools and reports for countries Retail teams to maximize sales and operational efficiency.
  • Identify areas of improvements and develop project with countries to reach objectives.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience: 10+ years retail operations experience in branded environment.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field preferred.

Skills:
  • Creativity and innovation with an entrepreneurial and disruptive spirit ; able to come up with new tools and methods for delivering best-in-class retail execution and customer experience.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic in thinking ; ability to analyze the current as-is and devise effective way(s) of doing work and addressing opportunities differently to get to desired state; able to translate current best practices to Asia Pacific region needs.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and able to motivate, influence and build long term relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Ability to handle multiple task/projects with adherence to details, deadlines and budgets. Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding presentation skills to communicate complex ideas into actionable insights.
