Planning Manager-Calvin Klein Men’s Wholesale
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Calvin Klein Planning Manager will be responsible for executing divisional strategies and for driving topline plans from a division level to a department/category level financial plans that support the overall financial goals and objectives of the Calvin Klein Men’s department store business.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
- Assist VP of Planning with creating strategic financial plans that support the divisional goals from a top down perspective
- Partner with sales to develop actionable strategies to improve business at retail guiding all decisions to ensure margin liabilities are minimized
- Create seasonal financial flows, cluster plans, door plans and class plans by account based on divisional level targets
- Oversee plan negotiations with accounts ensuring that goals are achieved
- Create and manage in season item ladder plans reflecting divisional financial targets
- Develop and maintain market bookings goals and manage post market buy recaps
- Prepare and distribute weekly business reporting of KPIs
- Analyze door and cluster selling and communicate regularly with department stores and sales to capitalize on opportunities
- Manage department store OTBs and lead monthly conference calls to discuss changes to in-season financials.
- Analyze replenishment performance and partner with operations team to maximize in season opportunities
- Present action points to senior management and gain consensus on business approaches
- Collaborate and partner cross functionally to understand full scope of business needs and challenges

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience:
- 6+ years of total work experience
- Demonstrated experience:
- Presenting and recommending strategies and building a business case
- Driving business to exceed company plans
- Assuming additional areas of accountability successfully
- Influencing and negotiating at a variety of levels
Education:
- 4-year degree; advanced degree a plus
Skills:
- Strong Retail Math Skills
- Resourceful, organized, meets deadlines
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong written and communication skills
- Strategic Forecasting & Financial Planning
- Highly proficient in Excel, Power Point, Knowledge of 7th online preferred
