Marketing Manager, North America - CALVIN KLEIN

This is a role on the North American Marketing team, reporting to the Senior Vice President of Marketing. This position is focused on Retail Marketing strategies within the United States & Canada, supporting the full-priced and outlet Calvin Klein retail stores. This position partners closely with the business units internally, as well as close collaboration with cross-functional departments such as Creative, Production, PR, Social, Visuals and Store Operations.

This role demands strict attention to the North America business with a strong focus on customer engagement; developing Marketing strategies to drive traffic and sales in-store.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

  • Management of direct to consumer Marketing strategies supporting the retail stores in the U.S. & Canada, inclusive of:
  • Implementation of Weekly Email strategy (planning, cadence, briefing, execution, tracking performance)
  • Responsible for garnering French translations for select Canadian segments
  • Direct Mail strategy
  • Loyalty initiatives
  • SMS Marketing
  • Partnership with CRM team to define segmentation & testing opportunities
  • Track Retail promotional messaging & maintain promotional calendar; track regional and national in-store promotional offers, leveraging CRM reporting
  • Partnership with Creative & Copy-Writing teams on execution of all customer-facing tactics
  • Detail seasonal retail photo shoot needs for business & direct to consumer needs, partnering closely with Fashion Styling, Merchant & Visuals teams and full Marketing team
  • In partnership with CRM team, develop ROI for all initiatives; analyze & evaluate relevant reporting metrics on weekly basis
  • Monitor & socialize effectiveness of ongoing Marketing programs, leveraging CRM weekly reporting
  • Partner with E-COMM Marketing Manager on Loyalty Program / omni-channel marketing initiatives
  • Work with the Visual and Store Operations teams to publish updates, ensuring teams are well informed on various Marketing activations in play
  • Manage in-store transactional marketing programs, utilize POS system capabilities to execute
  • Responsible for updating current retail store listings on GoogleMyBusiness
  • Conduit with Mall Management partners such as Simon & Tanger Outlets for ongoing Retail Marketing support.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience: Minimum of 5 years Marketing experience, ideal candidate to have strong Retail Marketing background.

Education: BS/BA or equivalent

Skills:

  • Excellent written & verbal communication
  • Ability to juggle both brand & business priorities
  • Analytical; ability to evaluate in depth reporting & communicate out action steps
  • Thrives in a fast-paced & nimble environment
  • Strong CRM & Analytics background
  • Email Service Provider background is a plus
  • Problem-solving in time-sensitive conditions required
  • Understanding of, and ability to communicate Calvin Klein brand aesthetic
  • Business acumen
