Marketing Coordinator (Retail) - CALVIN KLEIN

The Retail Marketing Coordinator – North America position within the Global Marketing Group will help coordinate US retail marketing needs and integration with global brand marketing. This position will also help manage relationships with internal and external retail partners.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

  • Assist Marketing Manager in delivering marketing programs and assets for US and Canada
  • Assist in creation, conception, and presentation of e- brand marketing ideas and social media integration
  • Coordinate day to day relationship with US sales and merchant teams, create timelines and plot needs for photo shoot budgets
  • Coordinate internal asset creation and timely delivery for all category specific and brand focused campaigns and tactics across wholesale accounts
  • Partner with digital marketing coordinator on marketing programs across all platforms to ensure continuity
  • Assist with shoot production for all internally produced photography
  • Coordinate creative and agency partners
  • Enforce the defined brand voice guidelines across the North America market
  • Manage execution of special projects (special events, sponsorships, magazine partnerships, etc.)
  • Develop project briefs and execute to completion
  • Review monthly production job status reports and billing
  • Develop strong relationships with internal partners & wholesale accounts
  • Assist with presentation development for strategic pitches and seasonal performance summaries

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience: one to two years of experience in the fashion/retail marketing space ideally with a fashion/beauty/fragrance industry focus

Education: Bachelor's Degree Required

Skills:

  • Understanding of popular and emerging social networks
  • Project management experience
  • Experience in working with a marketing team
  • Proficiency in Powerpoint, Word, Excel (Photoshop/HTML a Plus)
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong writing/editing skills
  • A strong aesthetic sensibility and exposure to/understanding of fashion, photography, architecture, and/or art
  • Strong interpersonal communications/presentation skills and ability to work productively in a fast-paced, creative, collaborative environment, including interface and coordination with in-house advertising agency, and contact with associates and licensees at all levels
  • Resourceful, creative and self-motivated with strong organizational skills and aptitude for immediately developing a highly organized approach to managing multiple projects, and an ability to quickly absorb the spirit of the Calvin Klein design point of view
